Health and Safety at Work

Estúdio Bica

The transformation of an old warehouse into a workspace, preserving the original structure on display. The starting point was to preserve, not erase: the wooden structure of the original warehouse sets the rhythm for the entire space. The intervention adds only what is strictly necessary — a compact kitchen, an archive area, and light where there was none before. A single new gesture — a brushed brass sliding panel — separates the meeting area from the open workspace, without completely obscuring the original volume. Location: Lisbon, Portugal
